Why join the society?

Our success is based on our dedicated members and volunteers.  Some of our members volunteer on a daily basis, while others donate time to special events - newsletters, fundraising, providing refreshments for meetings and book launches, and taking turns manning the centre during winter months. We thank them all.

Membership in the Shelburne County Archives & Genealogical Society is open to anyone with an interest in family history. We invite you to become a member of our society and thus help us to preserve the heritage, the family history and the culture of our community. Volunteers are always welcome and we will find an interesting project which will utilize your talents.

Newsletters

The Society publishes a newsletter Pastimes three times a year and issues it to all members. The newsletter has been published continuously from May 1988 to the present. An index, compiled by Joan Harris Crise, is available at the resource centre.

Meetings and Workshops

We occasionally hold meetings with a special guest speaker.

Dues

Individual: $30.00 | Family: $40.00 

Note: US members please add $5.00 to dues

Dues are payable by June 30 of each year
